Fx4 Workshop

How does your team play
when the game gets serious?

In the Fx4 Workshop, the robot is the pretext and the team is the subject. In a lighthearted competition, with hands-on technology, little time and limited resources, each person's attitudes come to the surface. At the end, the team reflects on what those attitudes reveal about culture and focus on results.

Participants' overall rating: 4.76 out of 5.

The problem

The challenge is rarely
a lack of competence

Many teams have talent and clear goals, but are slow to turn ideas into results at the speed the context demands.

  • They take too long to move from idea to execution.
  • They plan too much and test too little.
  • They struggle to adapt decisions when the scenario changes.
  • They confuse activity with value creation.
  • They explain results by a lack of resources, not by the way they work.

Lecture-based training rarely changes this behavior, because it explains the problem without making the team live it.

How it works

The robot is the pretext.
The team is the subject.

An experience in four moments.

Professionals around the arena watch a robot match in a dark room with screens in the background Video coming soon

The journey in 4 moments · about 80 seconds

  1. Participants, seen from behind, follow the workshop opening in a large room

    A true story

The journey of the Amigos Droids team, world champions in 2026 and co-creators of Fx4, opens the experience with emotional engagement and marks the transition into the simulation.

  2. Participants' hands assembling the cardboard robot on the table, surrounded by parts and tools

    Forming the teams

Job titles and seniority are set aside. Everyone “goes back to high school” and each table becomes a competition team, with a robot, simple materials, rules and little time.

  3. The teams' robots competing in a match in the arena, with participants around it

    Robotics tournament in 3 cycles

Teams plan, build, test and compete in matches against the other teams. Time is short and resources are limited.

  4. Participants, seen from behind, follow the final reflection in front of the screens

    From the game to work

Before the final result, a reflection guided by questions connects what happened in the game to real situations in the company. Each participant leaves with a small, concrete experiment for the following week. The experience ends with the awards.

What changes

A hands-on experience of
changing mindset

The essence of Fx4 is learning by doing: reading the context, testing fast and working with what you have, instead of justifying what is missing.

During the simulation, job titles and seniority are set aside. This reveals contributions and leadership that routine and formal structure tend to hide.

The origin

Inspired by a
world champion team

The Workshop game was born from the experience of the Amigos Droids team, which won the Inspire Award at the 2026 FIRST Championship, in a competition with almost 9,000 teams from 57 countries. The Workshop brings to companies the dynamics the team lives in competition: a clear goal, little time, limited resources and team decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Isn't it just a game? Work is different.

The context is different, the behaviors are the same: deciding with little information, prioritizing, testing and adapting. The final reflection connects what happened in the game to real situations in the company.

Does my team need to know robotics?

No. The robot arrives ready and the challenge is a team one.

We already use agile methods. Does this make sense for us?

Yes. Having the method does not guarantee the behavior. The experience shows, in practice, how the team decides and adapts under pressure.

How many people can take part?

From 12 to 60 at the same time, with 1 monitor for every 20 participants.

Does the workshop assess people individually?

No. It is a team learning experience, not a performance assessment. In the recruitment format, the activity makes it possible to observe behavior in a practical situation.

What does the company need to provide?

A room, tables, a projector and internet. Robots, materials, arena and facilitation are provided by Fx4 Brasil.

Where do you operate?

Anywhere in Brazil.

How much does it cost?

The investment depends on the format, the number of participants and the location. We present the proposal in a short conversation.
